Marker Art #6: “Oceans”

Hoping to incorporate further concepts and motifs, in “Oceans” I tried out (in miniature, really) some boats and water themes. I find that one of the hardest colors to capture is a good light blue–at this point I was nervously using a highlighter for the exceptionally light blues. One of the predominate things I was trying to do here was see if I could incorporate a more realistic looking human face and body. This attempt included a Ghanaian woman with a baby on her back.
