I wandered around and took some photos yesterday of Lake Michigan in this strange half-frozen, half steaming glass-like state. It’s been in the 50s and 60s yesterday and today, with thunderstorms and torrential rain. I wish it was snow. This is surreal.
Also, I love thundersnow, man.
Glasslike water and little boats of ice, floating there. Everything is this odd grey-green color.
And there’s the Chicago skyline, absorbed by these dull, unseasonably warm clouds.
