Finally! My Easter Image. This image was used for the front cover of the Saint Paul and the Redeemer Easter Bulletin. (Sans the text; I added that later.) It is based on the Easter Readings from Year C, the Luke story of the resurrection in which the three women go to the tomb and encounter two angel-men who ask them, “Why are you looking for the living among the dead? He is not here, but has risen!” It’s a confusing tale, and unsettling… there isn’t much excitement or rejoicing in the story. Everyone is pretty dern confused. Hense, there’s some tension in this picture.
